Every show leaves a mark — on the crowd, on the culture, and on the planet. The Blue Rider is how I make sure mine leaves the right one.
Over 11 million metric tonnes of plastic enter the ocean every year. This is my part in changing that.
I'm committing to reduce plastic waste, lower the environmental footprint of my shows, and use my platform for the ocean. Single-use plastics from live events are among the most common items found in ocean clean-ups worldwide.

Eliminate Single-Use Plastic Backstage
Preventing plastic pollution doesn't start at the shoreline. It starts with everyday choices.

Where possible, please remove all items listed from backstage areas, green rooms, the stage, and DJ booths, and replace with the alternatives shown.

Adopt Low Impact Travel
Transportation is typically the single largest contributor to a tour's carbon footprint.

Not every leg is within your control — but wherever choices can be made, please prioritise the following:
Electric or hybrid
For all ground transfers
EV or shared shuttle
Where private vehicles are needed
Rail over flights
Wherever feasible
Shared vehicles
Rather than individual private cars
Carbon Offsets
Where flights are unavoidable, please carbon offset all air and ground travel. We recommend choosing blue carbon solutions — projects that sequester carbon through ocean and coastal ecosystems, directly protecting the environments most threatened by climate change.
